About Me

Hi all, and welcome to The Comer Experience. Howdy, we are John and Gena. Gena is born and raised in Southern Oklahoma. John is a military brat, raised in New York for his first few years. He spent 5 years in Okinawa, Japan before moving to Oklahoma. Both of us have been married before, and have finally found our comfort in each other since 1999. We got married on July 4, 2006, and it makes Independence Day something much better to celebrate. We have hit a point in our life together that now we want to share our experiences with everyone. We want to take you on a trip through the everyday lives of our family. We have started this blog to give people a look into what our family enjoys, and goes through. You will see some great cooking from John, who learned from helping his mother in the kitchen. With his mix of Italian and Irish background he enjoys experimenting and making great food. We will also take you on our journey into learning photography and we would love to hear your critiques on our pictures. All and all we hope you enjoy your journey with us and can laugh and learn from our experiences. Enjoy and lots of fun, John & Gena #TheComerExperience

Forever & Always by Jasinda Wilder Book Review

Forever & Always is the type of book that will have you delving into it head first, and wanting more by the end.  However, do to some of the steamier content towards the end of the book it is not meant for everyone.  Also, it is not for the faint of heart due to some of the storyline.  I adore the author, and have since I came across another series she has written.  She is fairly known for the steaminess in her books. It doesn't bother me to read this as I am an adult, and know that some of that is pretty much part of adult life.  So this is not a young adult crowd read for sure.

The two main characters (Caden & Ever) within this series better known as "The Ever Trilogy" were brought together due to great loss at an early age of losing a parent.  It is written so that you can almost feel the same feelings the characters have or are going through due to this great loss.  They become pen-pals after meeting each other at an art camp.  Through out the storyline the author throws in the letters they write to each other so that you can almost feel yourself being behind the pen in some sort or fashion.

The love, loss, drama, and all other emotions you feel through this series will have you needing a box of tissues.  The ending will have you really wanting to go into the next book full force to find out what happens next.  I know this because I am already dying to jump into book two, but alas I work during the day, and only get to read books on break.  I took my break to write this review before I forgot what I wanted to say *Laughing*.

So please know :
#1-Grab that box of tissues
#2-Prepare for getting book two
#3-Know that you will truly know what loss is by the end of this series!

So if you want to grab this book while its "FREE" on Amazon click that picture below!!
